Pesto + Prosciutto Pizzas

This 4 ingredient pizza is something that we eat several times a month at my house. It is easy, delicious, and ready in under 20 minutes. You can adjust the recipe and buy any brand of the items but I really suggest Mama Mary’s whole grain pizza crust. You can find them at most local grocery stores or online at retailers like amazon. If I am not making my own pizza crust, this is the only brand that I buy.


For this pizza, I layer three toppings on the Mama Mary’s crust and bake for 12 minutes at 400 degrees.

  • store bought pesto
  • prosciutto, I have used both diced or slices and I use whichever I have on hand
  • good quality shredded parmesan cheese



In the summer, when it is really too hot to use the oven, these turn out really nicely if cooked for 15 minutes at 400 degrees in the toaster oven.


When the pizzas finish baking, you are left with a deliciously salty but refreshing dish that doesn’t have the grease or heartburn that other types of take out pizza have.


I generally have all these ingredients on hand so that I can whip up dinner quickly for those nights that I just really don’t want any hassle. What are your favorite quick week night recipes?
